Salixflex ring
Description
The Salixflex Ring seal is supplied as preformed rings, which has already been shown to be advantageous when used in high-load conditions
For types 6521, 6522, 6523, 5256, the rings are spring-loaded to prevent extrusion of graphite into the joint.
Standard material
Pressed pure graphite (99.8%) - Graphite: Pure graphite has a low resistance to tension. In order to achieve the ideal seal, therefore, a reduced thickness is used.
Fields of application
Molded and preformed rings are mainly used as spindle seals for medium pressure and high pressure armature.
